Kentro is hiring for a Senior Applications/Systems Analyst Lead to support Veterans Affairs ESOM contract.

Join a high‑impact engineering organization responsible for shaping the technical direction of a modern endpoint ecosystem spanning Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and enterprise printer platforms. In this role, you will serve as the architecture authority and cross‑functional integrator—guiding the design of secure, scalable, and consistent endpoint solutions that directly support our client’s mission.

You will partner closely with senior engineers, security architects, integration teams, and executive stakeholders to influence major technical decisions, streamline delivery, and ensure the highest levels of service quality across a rapidly evolving, strategic environment. If you excel at solving complex system challenges, driving technical clarity, and leading with deep expertise, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of endpoint engineering.

As the Sr. Applications/Systems Analyst Lead, you will bridge application delivery and endpoint engineering, ensuring applications are packaged, integrated, and deployed seamlessly across the enterprise device ecosystem. You will provide technical leadership in application compatibility, endpoint integration, and deployment standards—driving consistency, stability, and scalability across the Desktop and Device Engineering function.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead application packaging, testing, and deployment efforts to ensure compatibility across enterprise endpoint environments
  • Define and maintain standards for application integration with endpoint platforms (e.g., Windows, MacOS, mobile)
  • Oversee application compatibility testing and remediation to support enterprise-wide deployments
  • Partner with endpoint engineering teams to align application requirements with device baselines and lifecycle processes
  • Coordinate with security, identity, network, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet enterprise compliance and performance requirements
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for application deployment activities across the team
  • Support release planning and deployment readiness for new and updated applications
  • Troubleshoot complex application and endpoint integration issues and provide guidance to technical staff
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical standards to support repeatable and scalable delivery
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, working sessions, and cross-functional coordination efforts within a multi-contractor, agency-led environment

Reporting

  • Software Packaging Delivery: Ensure delivery of fully tested, validated, and documented application packages ready for enterprise deployment
  • Testing and Validation: Oversee application testing processes to confirm compatibility, performance, and compliance across endpoint environments
  • Deployment Readiness: Provide status on application readiness, risks, and dependencies tied to release and deployment schedules
  • Issue Tracking and Resolution: Report on application-related issues, root cause analysis, and resolution timelines
  • Metrics and Insights: Deliver clear, concise reporting on packaging throughput, deployment success rates, and application performance trends
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to leadership and cross-functional teams on progress, risks, and decisions required

Supervisory Duties

  • Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to Desktop Device Technical Staff supporting application packaging and deployment activities
  • Establish quality standards and review outputs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with engineering requirements
  • Support task prioritization, workload distribution, and coordination across team members
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of technical capabilities across the team
  • Collaborate with other leads to ensure alignment across endpoint engineering, security, and infrastructure efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Endpoint Engineering, Endpoint Management, or Enterprise IT Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent. 8 additional years of experience may be substituted for the educational requirement for a total of 13+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing enterprise endpoint management platforms such as Intune, MECM/SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent tools
  • Strong experience designing and delivering reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics using tools such as SQL and Power BI
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and initiatives in complex, enterprise environments
  • Experience integrating endpoint management solutions with security, identity, and infrastructure services
  • Strong understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, including build, patching, configuration, compliance, and retirement
  • Ability to translate technical data into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
