Kentro is seeking an experienced Enterprise Printing Solutions Architect to serve as the senior technical authority supporting our government customer under the VA ESOM contract. This role will lead the architectural design, engineering strategy, and technical governance for the modernization of enterprise printing services across the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Enterprise Printing Solutions Architect serves as the principal technical advisor for all Enterprise Printing initiatives, translating customer requirements into secure, scalable, and operationally sustainable enterprise solutions. Working closely with the Enterprise Printing Program Manager, government stakeholders, engineering teams, and supporting workstreams, this role establishes the future-state architecture for enterprise printing while ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure, endpoint engineering, cybersecurity, networking, identity management, and service management strategies.
The Architect provides technical leadership through implementation by validating engineering designs, establishing technical standards, reviewing solution deliverables, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring that Enterprise Printing capabilities are implemented in accordance with federal security requirements and enterprise architectural principles.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring Enterprise Printing evolves into a modern, secure, highly available enterprise service that supports clinical, administrative, and business operations across the agency.
Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Compensation Range: The salary for this position is between $170,000 – $190,000 annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Role Overview:
The Enterprise Printing Solutions Architect bridges strategic planning and technical execution by defining architectural direction, validating engineering approaches, and providing technical governance across all Enterprise Printing initiatives. The Architect serves as the organization's technical authority for Enterprise Printing, ensuring engineering decisions align with long-term operational objectives while reducing technical risk and improving service maturity.
Working collaboratively with Systems Engineers, Security Analysts, Reporting Engineers, Technical Writers, Quality Assurance personnel, and government stakeholders, the Architect ensures Enterprise Printing solutions are:
